Three Years of Blogging | Rebecca Minkoff Giveaway! [CLOSED]

Hey guys!!! Can I first just say that editing these pictures made me very very hungry...what's the celebration for, you might ask? Well, roughly 3 years ago, I sat down and posted a cringeworthy string of photos to Lost But Not Found, for my very first blog post. I don't think I ever imagined that I would keep up with posting, let alone continue to have a passion for this creative outlet. Since I started three years ago, I've had a slew of unbelievable opportunites, from being featured on to getting to collab with newfound internet friends. With college approaching, who knows what I'll be doing, but what I do know is that I'll continue to post all about it. To celebrate three years of LBNF, I wanted to give back a bit to you guys!! I saw this Rebecca Minkoff change purse/mini wallet the other day and just had to have it (I almost wish I could keep it for myself, seriously). Enter below for a chance to win! This giveaway is international and will end on August 25th, 2015. Best of luck! xoxo Isabelle

Les Petits Moments | Provence Video

Hey guys! So a couple of weeks ago, I went away to the South of France, and decided to make a little video summary of this trip. The idea behind it was to showcase "les petits moments" or rather "the small moments". We traveled around the South of France, from Lubéron to Gordes to Cassis. I hope you guys enjoy this video! Let me know your thoughts in a comment. xoxo Isabelle

Sweet Summertime + Update!

I definitely write this in every post, but this was actually the busiest and probably most exciting week of my life!!! So much has been going on, that I am referencing my calendar in my phone (my new lifeline in addition to iced coffee) in order to recount my activities. On Tuesday, we made our first college visit/interview to Swarthmore College in PA, which was so crazy. Senior year seems intimidating enough, and then there's all of this college process madness. Wednesday, my room demolition began and it down poured to the point of streets new oceans being blocked off. Thursday, with my nerves kicking in and a desperate need for caffeine, I passed my driver's test!!! My instructor wasn't the nicest guy (he was quite sassy), so I am just thankful my awful parallel parking skills were given mercy. I spent most of that day moving my things back into my room and putting pictures up, so my first solo drive was to SAT tutoring at Starbucks and then the gym on Friday. Yesterday, I went out to dinner with Allison and Melanie (three cheers for quinoa quesadillas!!) and then went to a soirée thing at a friend's house, and I FINALLY got to sleep in past 7:30 today. Ahh! As for what is going on today, I got my nails done a baby pink this morning, and might see Magic Mike 2 later, haha. I hope you guys are having a great week as well! Tell me what's going on with you guys! I'm nosey and proud- leave me a comment so I can continue to avoid my college essay. Next week is looking pretty relaxed, besides a trip up to Virginia for another college visit. Last provence/paris posts coming soon! xoxo Isabelle

Our trip to the South of France could be defined by a few things; plentiful fields of thousands of flowers, a constantly beating down sun, quirky trip companions, and tons of walking. We usually frequent the North of France (aka Paris), and I had never really vacationed down south, so this trip held a lot of exploration expectations to it. While making our way around Provence, from Luberon to the beaches in Marseille, I took a surplus of photos, and took to this blog post for my classic post-vacation photo diary post. I hope these photos give you guys an insight to my delightful trip! Thanks to my mom for such a wonderful 10 days back in my second favorite country. xoxo

Of everything our trip to the south of France could entail, my mom and my's excitement was geared towards the famed lavender fields. Our first few days spent in Saint Rémy, we did some exploring (and getting terribly lost) in between croissants and baguettes. One day, we went to the hospital where Van Gogh created a lot of his work while a patient there, and we discovered all of this lavender in the back of the site. When I say we went back more than once, I'm not kidding- you do what you gotta do for the perfect picture, haha. Anyway, this lavender beauty felt so perfect with my Free People sundress, my little boat hat, and some loose curls. These pictures don't quite do the location justice. This trip to Provence was so wonderful, in that we got to discover a place my mom and I both had never been. In that moment, with strangers looking at me strangely and the sun shining down on my sunscreen lathered skin, everything seemed to pause for just a minute. Surrounded by unreal looking & smelling flowers, it didn't seem like reality. There's nothing quite like the summer.

Speaking of photos, if you follow me on Instagram, you would've seen that I mentioned an upcoming photo project. I've been working on my very own photography portfolio/website for the past week or so, and it's finally live! Click here to see some of my work. Thank you guys for keeping up with all of my projects! Love y'all xoxo Check this space soon for more photo diaries & outfits from my trip!

June Favorites + My Skin Care Tips

Every once in a while, I like to do favorites posts to share with you guys what random things I've been liking lately! I'll be adding other items (not pictured) because I took these photos while away in France and was not equipped with all of my things. Leave a comment with what you've been liking lately!

Jalouse Magazine: One thing that I can say confidently is that France has a way better selection of magazines than the US does. Many magazines I've seen floating around the Tumblr-sphere but never had luck finding are readily available at the Tabac next door in Paris. Before leaving France, I discovered this magazine, which is quite similar to Nylon, but it has more of a balance of editorials and text. I love the spreads in this magazine, and the fashion combined with the photography is so inspiring. I had to get this issue mostly because Bella Hadid was on the cover, and well, yeah. That's the only reason why! Haha. The content is great this month though, and if you're looking to practice some French, try to get your hands on it!

Urban Outfitters Boater Hat:  If you've been keeping up with my instagram (@lostbutntfound), you would see my sporting this hat...well, ALOT. The South of France heat was quite powerful, and the only things protecting my face were some sunscreen and this hat or my floppy hat. While I will admit that I wore a NYU Mom baseball cap some days (don't ask), on the less humid days I wore this hat with adorable sundresses and felt a bit like Maria Rainer out of the Sound of Music.

Neutrogena Clear Face + Tarteguard Sunscreen: Oscar Health Insurance and I are teaming up on this favorite to inform all of you about skin safety this summer! I've always had very fair skin, and have been constantly warned by my family/doctor to stay out of the sun. However, when everyone is lounging on the beach all summer long, it is hard to abide by that tip. To keep my self protected from the sun, I pack on my variety of sunscreens and throw on a cute floppy or boat hat. In addition to taking these precautions, it is important to be knowledgeable when it comes to skin cancer. Oscar Health Insurance has a readily available team of nurses and healthcare experts to answer any of your questions, like what foods can help with getting your vitamin D fix.

Gopro Hero 4 Around the time of spring break and my birthday, I got a Gopro Hero 4 Black edition and have been using it constantly ever since! I've always used my DSLR for videos and photography, but the Gopro adds a whole other element with the under water component. The quality is pretty amazing for it's size, and it's very practical for when you're on the go. I wouldn't recommend everyone get one as they're quite expensive, unless you know you'd use it often. My friends and I have been loving using it so far this summer and I can't wait to see what cool shots we get in the future!

G-Eazy (These Things Happen / Tumblr Girls): As I have mentioned in the past, I go through sporadic music phases- from country to hard core rap, my music taste can be all over the place. Lately, I have been taking a liking to The Weeknd and G-Eazy. I love G-Eazy's music for the powerful lyrics and it's spin on your typical rap through a less "aggressive" tone. I'm not sure if any of that made sense, but go have a listen for your self!

Wearing:// Dress: Urban Outfitters, Hat: Nordstrom BP, Shoes: Topshop, Bralette: Aritzia, Bracelets: Alex + Ani, Stone Ring: Chelsea Market

Like with just about everything, I overly procrastinated in my prep for this trip. Hours before the trip, my many devices were still charging and not an item could be found in my tornado room. I figure, what's the point in packing ahead when you can do so the night/morning before? (without power, I might add) In addition to throwing all of my "things" into a suitcase right before leaving, I also made some last minute online purchases before coming back to France, including this dress, hat, and shoe combo- and boy, am I glad I did. I've always enjoyed midi-dresses from afar, but never thought my 5'5" frame could pull off this length. Despite this minor hesitancy, I still went for this Urban Outfitters dress, and then got these tie up espadrilles + hat to pair with the summer meadow frolicking vibe. Since then, these shoes have gotten quite a bit of wear out of them, and my rather floppy hat has been keeping me my Caspar self. I also normally don't try all that much when it comes to my thick + uncooperative hair, but I did some light curls for this Free People esque look, and I'm diggin' it! The magic of a curling iron, amiright?

We've only been here for a few days, but my mom and I both agree that it feels like it has been a month. Our routine of passing by the pottery store, drooling over the Provençal delicacies, getting loads of coffee at the hotel, and venturing out to the hospital where Van Gogh stayed (with beautiful lavender fields) seems innate. Even though I spent 9 months in France, I haven't traveled much around the south of France, so getting to explore the Provence area has been a treat. Keep up with my travels/photography on Instagram @lostbutntfound xoxo Isabelle
