Long time no talk! Alas, sophomore year has officially come to a close and summer is amongst those of us lucky enough to be out already (#prepschooladvantages). After emptying out my car and organizing my excessive amount of 'things' from school, I proceeded to pack for my trip to Greece…tomorrow. It seems like this "jump and go" traveling style will be a theme for the summer, but I am certainly not complaining. Mid-way through my unpacking/repacking triumph, I ran several errands wearing this small-town vibed get up. There's nothing quite like a classic polka dot print, distressed denim jacket, and brown leather strappy sandals to getcha in the summer mood. Also, please excuse the (designer) bags underneath my eyes. Exam week can take a toll on ya.

Hope you all are doing well and sorry again for the mini-hiatus! Greece posts coming very soon.

Spring Favorites 2014

After a two month-ish standstill, I am finally back with another video! I was feelin' in the mood to film a few weeks ago, and finally delved into the editing process (please ignore my excessive use of 'like' and general weird mood). Anyway, I hope you enjoy this video, and let me know what you've been loving in the comments! I'd love some recommendations for new things. Also, leave some post or video requests if you have any. ❤ Hope you all are doing well!

Festival Fashion | Day 3

Of all three festival posts (here and here), this one screams Coachella the most to me. I seriously can't get enough of this crochet waist cutout dress, that just about everyone owns. The style is oh-so comfortable and quite airy, which are definitely two imperative components when it comes to concert-ventures. In my ideal festival experience (one day it WILL happen), I think it is somewhat justifiable to get all hipster, flower crown-y at least one day. What kind of festival would it be without at least one #semi-YOLO, stereotypical outfit?

While I've got that careless end of the year attitude about me, experiencing pre-mature senior slide, I should probs get my crap together, haha. While exams and graduation are fast approaching, I still remain in my "Who cares anymore!?" state. However, we have a Headmaster's Holiday Monday, which accounts for more watching of 'The Middle' and sleeping- my two favorite activities. For now, I am off to a night of *required* fun, including a hypnotist and s'mores, while the upperclassman enjoy prom. Oh, the perils of being a sophomore.

P.S. All this busy end of the year stuff means posting will be a bit scarce. Hopefully I will be able to post, but I am not sure how crazy things will get. I'll definitely be updating while in Greece, especially on Instagram (@lostbutnotfoundblog), so look forward to that!

I hope you enjoyed this mini post series and lemme know which look was your favorite! xoxo Isabelle

Festival Fashion | Day 2

The second installment in my three-part festival look book! Stay tuned for part three. xo

As I've stressed one too many times here on the blog, I am a *huge* comfort freak. Despite my friends always expecting me to dress up for even the smallest of occasions (Ice cream, hanging out, etc. etc.), I usually am quite comfortable. A long time favorite of mine and definite comfort provider is my trusty friend, the romper. Easily styled and mobile beyond belief, the romper proves to be a festival essential for any concert go-er. This one, in particular, has easily adjusted straps with an airy-like floral fabric, which explains why I bought it in two prints, haha. Feel free to frolic 'round whilst jamming to the 1975, throwing in a cart-wheel or two, sans the frantic skirt/shorts pulling down we all hate.

While writing this festival inspired post got me in the spirit of summer, I've still got exams and some projects standing between me and freedom. And so, I'm off to research Juan and Evita Peron, in preparation for a 12-15 minute long presentation. But lets be honest, I will probably just scroll Tumblr and watch Youtube vids for hours on end…stay in school, kids. Hope you enjoyed this post and that your week is going swimmingly! xoxo

Festival Fashion | Day 1

In honor of hours spent scrolling Coachella 'grams and drooling over the Firefly lineup, I thought a little festival look-book was in order. Yup, that's right- a three part outfit series! Ooooohhh yeahhh. [Check back on Tuesday for Pt. 2!] Whether you plan on actually taking on a festival or just live-feed viewing (aka me + a bowl of popcorn), all of these outfits are in the spirit of sunshine, good tunes, and endless summer. Hope you guys enjoy.

This look is for all them girls out there who just really aren't into the flower crown crochet madness festivals exude. To remain in the bohemian spirit but still stay true to an edgy based vibe, I decided to play up the black of my circle skirt with ankle cut Docs and a halter top (literally my new favorite thing), layered with a denim vest. If you're not as into the Doc scene as I am, any pair of sneakers will suffice because, well, you've gotta trudge around in effort to see as many bands as possible. Am I right?! To complete the look, I opted for my trusty fringe bucket bag, which serves as the perfect size for such an occasion, easily housing your phone, lip products, sunnies, tickets, and the essential water.

How would you style this skirt for a festival? Lemme know in the comments! I always love hearing how you guys style pieces- you guys are oh so fashionable. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend full of Mother's Day love! (Shout-out to Ellie, mom/photographer extraordinaire) You da best.

Schoolgirl Cool

Since purchasing what I like to call my "Summer Docs" (aka shopaholic justification), I've had a strange sort of New Yorker schoolgirl thing goin' on. Seeing as I can't bear to take off these beauties, I imagine this phase lasting long throughout summer, especially with frilly skirts and halter tops. Mhhmmm. I can see it now. But seriously, who doesn't love a good pocket tee , scuba skirt, and cat-eye sunglasses? I know I sure do.

Speaking of my many (many) obsessions, I have a plethora of posts coming your way very soon (favorites vid anyone?). For once I didn't procrastinate my procrastination, especially with a full weekend at home, sans Saturday class, which explains this disjointed schpeel. Alas, in just three shorts weeks, I will be basking on the beachs of Santorini with my sister and mom, my only worry excessive sunburn, rather than excessive homework. Pull through guys- summer is fast approaching! Hope you guys are just fabulous. xoxo
