Spring in the City | Photo Diary

1. Stopping traffic and taking in New York's beauty, 2. Georgetown Cupcakes, one our many food-related stops, 3. Nature blooming in Soho, 4. Chalk artistry in Washington Square Park, 5. "Tell the World Anything" camera and tripod set up in the park, 6. Rag and Bone across from the hotel #holla 7. Easter cheer outside of OldNavy, 8. Cheesin' in my future home

Beside blogging and writing to my heart's content, photography (actually being behind the camera) has always been a pursuit of mine. Therefore, I found it extremely difficult to sort through my hundreds of photos in order to compile a single post, capturing as much as I can of the city that I love so dearly in all its greatness. I am smitten with New York, truth be told. I hope you guys enjoy this post and thank you for all of the birthday love on my previous post!   You guys are the best. I shall be back soon with another post! Talk very soon.

P.S. Thank you for 100 GFC followers! Woohoo!

Sweet Sixteen

Just a little post acknowledging some of my wondrous outtakes over this past year of being fifteen. I actually can't believe I'm sixteen…..eighteen is waaay too close for comfort. Alas, today is the day and I hope you guys enjoy seeing myself in not so hot of times. Truth be told, the majority of my pictures look like this, b/c I'm obviously a model…..or not. Hope you guys are doing well!

With a pleasant surprise of sunshine and enough walking to make me crash, our last day spent in New York was quite splendid. As I make my way up the ranks through high school (get.me.out.of.here), college approaches, and so we felt it justified to walk to NYU in between our shopping endeavors. I have to say, I think it is fate that the kinda-sorta-like-a-campus scenery included this blog-worthy side street, where the French branch is located. Just walking around Washington Square Park and the bustling streets, donning my envelope skirt and blazer (my girly James Bond-like uniform) , I felt like I really belonged there. Oh how I love you, New York.

As typical following every trip, I soon after returned back to reality, but with high hopes within reach; school ending in roughly 30 days, my birthday celebrations this weekend (check back for an "interesting" post), and many travels ahead. Sophomore year, you're finally ending. Hope your week has been going well and that you have a nice weekend ahead of you as well! xoxo

After a hair cut and a multitude of tests later, I'm finally back! I checked out of prison (school) just yesterday and found my self in Soho today. #doublelife #hannahmontanna As an early birthday celebration, my mom and I decided to take on New York, one store at a time. And trust me, plenty of damage has already been done, which means more blogging. Yay for more outfits! There are so many lovely locations conveniently located around our hotel (blog backgrounds like this, frozen yogurt places, every store in existence really...and more food) Despite the abundance of curious looks I received, New Yorkers seem more accustomed to random New Jerseyans and their photographer mothers posing it up. The usual, ya know. Can't wait to share more pictures from this weekend soon! (you should also follow me @lostbutnotfoundblog on Instagram b/c why not)

Also, I just wanted to say thank you for all of the sweet emails and tumblr messages I have been receiving lately. I love interacting with you guys! Lots of love.  P.S. Happy Easter to those of you who celebrate!

Spring Playlist

Being the complete music junkie I am, I thought a playlist during this awkward winter to spring transition time was fitting, especially with the range of music I have been into. There isn't really a consistent theme to the genres, which is really the essence of my iTunes, particularly during warm weather. I mean, one can't help it that they like alternative, pop, classical, or…Disney, right? Just checking.

I hope you guys enjoy these tunes and I will be back with less lack luster posts Friday, via New York! Eeep so excited to shoot in Soho and shop till I drop (in the hotel). xoxo Gossip Girl (Isabelle)

P.S. Three episodes of GG left. Noooooooo. Seriously avoiding the last episode.

Spring Fever

On the *extremely* rare occasion that I manage to find pants/shorts I actually like, I tend to tell myself it is justified that I buy every print available. Alas, I now own these adorable high-waisted shorts in a blue floral and this vintage-y darker pair. You've got to balance dark and light, right? Seriously crossing my fingers that this (shot last weekend) will be the last time I have to struggle my way into tights. Spring weather is looooong over due

Speaking of nice weather, I trudged through a 3 mile run in the freezing rain today, which was quite awful I must admit. This wonderful afternoon activity of mine is not only to blame for my (developing) frostbite, but also for my uncalled for hiatus. Track meets are a time killer. However, I will be headed to New York mid-next week, which calls for photo diaries, outfits, and posts galore. Woot woot! Talk soon and hope your week is off to a pleasant start. xo

P.S. Yay for 150 posts! :O Lots more posting to come.
