1. At the top of Mont Tremblant  2. Post night exploring elevator shot with my brother + mom 3. Dinner at 'La Forge' 4. Candid shot whilst I adjusted my ski coat 5. Had to capture a shot of the French "Merry Christmas" text  6. Taking a stroll around the quaint village our hotel was in 7. With my other brother during a sleigh ride through the woods 8. We went dog sledding, and this was one of the adorable puppies amongst 300+ there! 9. :O "Chocolate Blast" Crêpe at 'Crêperie Catherine' Still reminiscing about it tbh 10. A shot from my Instagram  of the surrounding mountains 11. Our rental car's license plate, featuring the phrase "Je me souviens", meaning "I remember"

Through the agony of burning calves, an aching back, and radical helmet hair, I managed to snap some photos here and there from our trip to Canada. After a year (or two) hiatus of not skiing, it felt amazing to get back on the trails, even if it was in below zero weather. In addition to the beautiful skiing conditions and mouth-watering carb-filled food, I, all in all, enjoyed the time I got to have with my family the most. Even if I wanted to strangle my brothers about 75% of the time (hopefully they're not reading this, you guys know I am kidding anyway) , I appreciated the extended time we got to have together and I hope you all had a great holiday with your families/friends as well! And a splendid New Year's Eve tonight/tomorrow to ring in 2014, whether you plan on simply staying in and watching the ball drop via TV, or you have some plans that require sequins and sparkles of sorts. What are you plans for New Years? Happy New Year everyone. xo

Also,  I had originally planned on getting an outfit post up rather than my photo diary, but all of the outfit photos we took in Canada seemed to feature my raccoon-like dark circles. Skiing for a week can surely take a toll on your body. Nonetheless, my Christmas outfit will be coming up next. Sorry again for the absence.

Best of 2013

Woo-hoo! It is finally the end of another year and 2014 is upon us, which only means one thing; time for my best of 2013 post! This year, however, I figured, why not spice things up and attempt to film a video? *attempt being an extremely key word* Truth be told, it took me at least twenty (or thirty) takes to stop saying '2012' and 'um, like, but, definitely' etc, etc. Hopefully my camera shyness and utter hatred for my voice will get better with practice, which means more videos are coming your way soon. I hope you guys enjoy it nonetheless!  Seeing as it is nearly 1 a.m, I should probably go off to bed for my early morning flight to Canada! What can I say? I get a little distracted on my laptop. Happy holidays and a happy new year everyone! Have a merry Christmas to all those who celebrate. xoxo

P.S. Sorry this video took so long! The wifi in my hotel is actually so terrible, but I think I figured it out. Be sure to watch in HD, by the way. Thanks for reading and watching!

And so, the long awaited winter break has finally begun *countdown to spring break!* Just kidding, but seriously, I can't believe it is almost January 2014! The year is slowly but surely dwindling down, and a new year is approaching. However, as per usual, all I can bear to think about is sleeping in, catching up with my best friends, having lazy days every-day, and skiing in Canada. Saying I am excited to break out my "real" winter gear is an understatement, especially considering it was 50 degrees today. Darn you, New Jersey. Clearly, this look isn't below-zero weather ready, but with faire isle tights, some thick boot-socks, and my new winter coat, I will be ready to take on the snow.

I hope you all are having a wonderful holiday season with your family and friends! Sorry for going AWAL this past week, but I have some exciting posts in the works.   Talk soon! xo

Being the shopaholic I am (I admit it, ok?), it is hard to find a pair of pants that are truly unique in comparison to my hoarding of other shades of black. However, JBrand's new photo ready collection broke that barrier. These seemingly black, lack-luster pants are leopard printed. Pants like these help me not to feel as bad about my "I'll stop wearing black when they make a darker color" motto. And what is a winter look without a comfy sweater? Nowadays, I would throw on a parka or peacoat over my sweater, but these photos were shot a few weeks ago when gloves and a coat didn't determine life or death. The joys of winter.

I've got some cute-sy holiday themed posts coming up, so look out for those and possibly a Youtube video? Only if I muster up the confidence to reveal my ever-so cringe worthy voice…nevertheless, posts upon posts are coming your way! Hope you are all doing well. xx

New York City Photo Diary

1. City shot, including the nostalgic American Girl Doll Place  2. Taking on the city, one store at a time 3. AMAZING lunch at 'Banc', a french cafe 4. The note-able Radio City 5. With a few friends from school  (and the guard, haha) in front of the tree 6. "Vezzo" the restauraunt we almost went to, but couldn't get into 7. The massive, 60 ft. tree at Rockefeller Center 8. A random cat walking along the windows 9. Cheesin' in front of the giant ornaments

The city at Christmas is like no other time of the year; the signature, 60 ft. tree, the enchanting adorned store windows, and the thrill of gift shopping. This past weekend, my school organized a quick trip to see the city in all of its Christmas cheer glory. Naturally, I brought along my camera so I could share some pictures with you all. I hope you enjoy them! xx

One of my absolute favorite ways to winter-fy (is that a word?) outfits is with a circle/infinity scarf. They add warmth if you purchase a knit one, and in general add a certain 'something' to any outfit. Lately, I have been wearing scarves, sweaters, and practically anything with my go-to army jacket, which is one of my many justified purchases from last year that I discussed in my last post). Beneath all of the wintery goodness, I wore a slightly open-knit oversized sweater, with a black bralette underneath. And, I can't not acknowledge my attempt to style my unruly hair; brownie points for me! Just kidding, but seriously my hair never does what  I want it to. *sigh*

Ugh is all I can say about being back at school. Ugh x 1,000,000. 14 more days. To be honest, the only thing stringing me along through school is a) Christmas music (should I make a playlist possibly?) b) my trip to Canada over break; expect some photo diaries!, and c) my family's annual Christmas party next weekend. I hope you guys are having a good week back at school/work and a relaxing summer to all of my Australian friends! xx

It is finally starting to feel like Winter in New Jersey, as much as I don't want it to. My days of going sans jacket have turned into a wear-a-jacket-or-freeze-to-death kind of mindset. That being said, I have been feeling entitled to buy jackets of all sorts; a full on winter one, wool, denim/sweater combos, and this leather one, which happens to be surprisingly warm. Beneath my jacket, I wore my absolute favorite sweater, with metallic skulls and cloud nine inducing material. And of course, how could I forget my new bag?! I've always had a love for these small yet statement like bags, and honestly, the studs sold me on this one. According to "Santa", I can't use it until Christmas (beside blogging purposes), but we'll see about that one.

How are you all doing? To my dismay, my Thanksgiving break is coming to an end tomorrow, but sure enough, I'll be back home in around fifteen days. (#prepschooladvantages) I honestly cannot tell you what we will be able to accomplish in those two weeks, especially since we already had exams, but I am definitely not complaining. Also, off topic, but I just wanted to say thank you for all of the nice tweets and comments on my last post! I am glad some of you found it helpful and enjoyed it! I will be doing a similar post within my new series very soon. Anyway, I hope you guys have a wonderful week! The countdown to break begins.

P.S. I am trying to use Instagram more often (I never know what to post to be honest, haha) so you can follow me (@lostbutnotfoundblog) if you'd like! Have a great day. xo
