Daisy Meadow

I've always loved your typical, very cliché meadow outfit post. Maybe it's the vibrant colors of the flowers or fun looks bloggers create. All I know is that I am smitten with this location (aka expect to see it again). For this look, I chose a very comfortable shift dress, which is another favorite of mine. Shift dresses are classy with comfort- the perfect combination for a lazy person like myself.

I was scrolling down my twitter feed today and I came across this  link to a video about the countdown to MBFW Spring 2014! I love the cinematography of it and thought I would share it with you all. I hope you like it! xo

Mini Miami Photo Diary

1. Sunny Isles Beach mid-day  2. Delectable lobster mac-'n-cheese at Barton G 3. Dash Miami *insert heart eyes emoji*        4. Group shot pre-dinner minus my "photographer" mom 4. Dash Miami *insert heart eyes emoji* 5. AMAZING burger from BurgerFi 6. The beautiful view from our condo  7. One of my favorite new stores "LF" 8. Insane cotton candy dessert with popcorn from Barton G (I highly recommend Barton G if you are ever in South Beach!)

To my dismay, I didn't get as many pictures from my trip to Miami as I had hoped. But honestly, every single day consisted of either burning on the beach, indulging in mouth-watering food, or shopping. My thoughts were "there's only so many beach and food pictures one can handle". I hope you enjoyed this post! If you have any post requests, leave me some in the comments!

Once this post goes up, I will be back at school for tennis preseason. To say I am dreading  this school year and going back in general would be an understatement. I am not looking forward to having no free time and homework,of course. I hope you have a wonderful week while I drown in my misery (haha).

In my opinion, this vacation or really any vacation involving high temperatures would not be complete without a post where I am burnt (we can't forget this post). Yesterday, after a day off from the beach, we shot these photos around sundown. I recently found this high-low dress at Urban Outfitters and I love it! It is quite beachy and definitely perfect for Miami.

To my dismay, today is our last day in Miami. It is a bittersweet goodbye, but I am ready to return home and hopefully not get burnt more. My next post will probably be of some snaps from the trip, so get excited! I hope you enjoyed this post. Have a delightful day/night wherever you are.

Graffiti

Whether I like to admit it or not, I sometimes do go along with the trends. To avoid the feeling of "ugh I look like everybody else", I usually look for pieces with a unique take on the trend. When it comes to the overall/pinafore craze, I have had trouble picking what fabric/color- denim, burgundy, striped, black, etc. However, I made up my mind once I spotted this leather beauty. Yes, I described my dress as a beauty. To add to the already grunge look, I wore a cropped/striped turtle neck tee. And as you would expect, I slipped on my Docs to complete the graffiti wall look.

Today, at the crack of dawn, we voyaged to Miami for a small family trip. Somehow, despite being exhausted, we went to the beach and I possibly tanned (fingers crossed). Follow me on Instagram @lostbutnotfoundblog to see some snaps from my mini trip. Hope you are having a delightful day!

P.S. I just realized my last post was my 100th! How exciting! Thank you for sticking with me and all of the support! :)

Casual to Classy: Distressed Denim

I've always been a fan of two ways for styling one item posts. With the fall season approaching, I thought I would show you all how to take distressed denim from "casual to classy". Let me know if you like these style posts and would like to see more of them!

Casual

For the casual look, I chose a basic striped tee and my signature Docs. Your favorite tee and go-to boots are the perfect combination to compliment distressed denim.  Lately, I have been obsessed with wearing this look. It fills the edgy void in my life, ya feel?

Classy

To transform these casual jeans to a classy look, I chose my striped/beaded top and glittery flats. Distressed, hole in the knee jeans can be difficult to dress up, but simply taking a jeweled top and sparkly flats can take you from casual to classy.

Thank you for reading!  I hope you enjoyed. xo

I Love You More

Graphic tees have always been a style staple of mine- comfortable, expressive, and versatile, what can get better than that? (beside boyfriend jeans, of course) In this look, I sported one of my favorite graphics at the moment, which reads "I love you more" in broken lettering, with bleached pink throughout the tee. With this graphic I paired my new shorts from BeBop Clothing. To match the uber casual look, I chose to wear my high-tops, which are surprisingly still white.

P.S. If you were wondering, my ice-cream was vanilla-chocolate swirl with rainbow sprinkles. Yum. Also, I just made an Instagram! Follow me for updates on my blog and life! (http://instagram.com/lostbutnotfoundblog)

Pins and Needles

I am a sucker for anything comfortable: sweat-pants, sweat-shirts, yoga pants- the list goes on. When I discovered the boyfriend jean, the happy medium between comfort and fashion, I was hooked. I love how versatile they are and seeing how different bloggers style them. I decided to channel fall on this chilly summer day. Somehow I always end up dressing for the next season come the end of the current one (I am not alone, right? Just me? Ok.)

As the summer days sadly dwindle down, I have been trying to be more productive, like completing my summer reading. Page by painful page, I am repeatedly reminded of just how much I hate sci-fi books. Brave New World, anyone? How are you all doing with summer reading? Hopefully better than me. Have a fab rest of the week!

When it comes to high-low dresses, I'm usually not one to shy away from  wearing any shoe with a heel. However, today I thought I would try something different. I chose to wear my nude studded sandals, which match with just about anything. This is the first and definitely not the last time you will be seeing them. I paired it with one of my new favorite BeBop dresses, with an adorably girly print.

Thank you for the wonderful abundance of congrats on my last post! I appreciate it greatly. Besides blogging, all I have been doing lately is soaking up the sun (burn), hanging out with my friends, and shopping of course. What have you been up to? Leave a comment! xo
