One store that I can always rely on is Urban Outfitters. Always. I never seem to leave that store without something (to my parents dismay). Last week, my friend Allison and I trekked to the mall, which is when I found this extremely girly and flowy top. I paired it with a floral bralette underneath and a basic body con skirt, all from Urban Outfitters. What can I say? I am a die hard UO fan.

As you may or may not know, Google Reader (aka GFC) will be shutting down July 1st. If you would still like to follow my blog, you can follow me via Bloglovin'. Bloglovin' will import all of your blog reads from Google Reader and is quite easy to use. In addition, as I have mentioned countless times, today I will be venturing to France for three weeks! I am ecstatic for the adventure to begin and I can't wait to share photos with you all when I return! I wanted to let you know that there is no telling where and when I will have wifi, and if I will have time to shoot outfits abroad. However, I plan on shooting at least a few outfits today. That being said, I ask that you all bear with me and look forward to the photos coming your way. :) Thank you so much for reading and your continuous support!

My Travel Makeup Bag

In honor of my trip to France this friday, I thought I would share my travel makeup bag essentials with you all. I try to keep the amount of products I bring to travel to a minimal, so these are definitely my essentials. I hope you enjoy! :)

CoverGirl Clump Crusher Mascara in Waterproof: Although I just recently purchased it, this product is slowly becoming my favorite mascara. The wand is nicely shaped and the formula isn't too watery for my liking. With most trips, I pack waterproof mascara for swimming/trips to the beach, and even just everyday.

Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner: This is literally the best eyeliner for those of us with eyeliner application problems. I have tried many different liquid eyeliners, drugstore and high end, and this takes the cake. The felt tip brush is very thin and easy to use, especially for winged liner. I highly recommend you try it out!

MAC Eyeshadow in 'Phloof!': For travel and summer in general, I usually stick to simple eyeshadow, like this shimmery white. If you are in the market for eyeshadows, MAC has a wide variety of long-lasting colors.

Anastasia Clear Brow Gel: Despite being on vacation, I still like to have my brows tamed. Instead of defining my brows with a pencil, I stick to the basics with my travel size clear brow gel.

Nars Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer: During the summer, I like to wear light makeup, like tinted moisturizer, to simply create a clear complexion. I like to apply this tinted moisturizer with my fingers, so there is no need for a foundation brush. The best part is the SPF 30, which is always necessary for my fair skin.

MAC Mineralized Skin Finish Natural: This is one of the best powders I have tried. It is very lightweight and does not create a 'caked' look, which is quite distasteful for summer. I apply it with the fluffy brush above from Sigma and I am ready to go.

Maybelline Mineral Power Concealer: Although I am all for a very natural look, something that I always wear regardless of the situation is concealer. No matter how much sleep I get, I always seem to have a raccoon appearance about me. To look less exhausted, I swipe on this concealer and blend it out with my ring finger- easy peasy!

Almay Makeup Eraser Sticks: This product is not only a travel essential for me, but an everyday one as well. As mentioned above, I am not the best with eyeliner. To fix the many mistakes I make while applying my eyeliner, I swipe these eye makeup-remover filled cotton swabs. I cannot go a day without these! Seriously.

Korres Lip Butter in 'Jasmin': As you may recall, I previously did a post all about my love for my Korres Lip Butter in 'Wildrose'. For vacations, I prefer a more natural look, as opposed to the red I usually sport. The shade 'Jasmin' adds a subtle shine and hint of color.

DKNY Rollerball Be Delicious Duo: Lastly, I have a travel size roller ball duo. One of my all time favorite scents is DKNY's Be Delicious, which is on one side, and the other DKNY's Be Delicious Fresh Blossom. The only downside to this duo is that it is glass, so you have to make sure to pack it well.

Thank you for reading! I hope you all are having a great start to the week!

One of my favorite summertime pieces has to be crop tops, in addition to flatforms of course. I love to pair crop tops with high-waisted circle skirts, which are also my obsession. To complete the girly combination, I typically throw my hair into a braid concoction (click here for a post on my hair). As you can hopefully tell, I have made more of an effort to create content with interesting locations. Despite the enchanting background, I slightly regret venturing out to the woods for these shots. Let's just say I am not fond of creepy-crawlers and dirt, especially at the same time. I hope you all are having a fabulous and bug/dirt free week! Thank you for reading. xo

Braided

As you can tell, I don't do beauty related posts too often. However, when I do, it is usually about a product or style I have been obsessed with. Today's obsession is the ever-so-famous "Lauren Conrad" braid. During the summer, I  love  to throw my hair into this style to get it out of my face and to remain cool. To learn how to do  this braid, follow this tutorial (this is how I learned!) If you try out this hair style, email me or post a picture to my FB/twitter. Also, look out for this outfit post soon! Thanks for reading!

P.S. With the week I have left until I voyage to France, I plan to blog as much as possible! There is no telling whether I will have wifi or not at certain hotels. So, I was wondering, what would you like to see more of on the blog? xo

Despite the weather warming up, I still will take any chance to wear boots. Seriously. With the supposed tornado approaching and the clouds churning, I decided to lace up my Docs and throw on this velvet dress from Alice + Olivia. To add a pop of color to this rather monochromatic look, I swiped on the infamous "Ruby Woo" from MAC. Red lips have slowly become a staple of mine- a phase? I think not.

All is well in New Jersey, despite this monsoon approaching. Tornado watch. Flood warning. Blah blah blah. At the moment, it is clear as day, so I am anticipating the alleged weather coming. I am a sucker for a good thunderstorm, despite spending them with my shivering dog. Thankfully, my friends get off school next week-weee! Thanks for reading! xo

It is finally starting to feel like summer. Despite the unpredictable rain we've experienced lately, the sun filled days have certainly not gone unnoticed by me. With the weather forecast looking dreary and glum for this upcoming week, I took the opportunity today to shoot this outfit. Truth be told, this dress is one of those pieces in my closet that I rediscovered. I love the bohemian atmosphere of it, which I thought also called for some beachy waves and gold earrings. I attempted to wave my thick hair, which was somewhat successful considering I rarely curl (let alone style) my own hair. Let me know what you think of this hair style and of the entire look!

Something you won't often see me sporting on my blog is shorts. I have to admit, I do prefer skirts and dresses over shorts any day. However, when I came across these shorts at American Eagle, I couldn't help but show you all; I adore them! They fit wonderfully and are quickly becoming a closet staple of mine. Anyway, as you may or may not know, I am currently in Orlando, frolicking about in Disney World and Universal Studios. The other night, when we went to the Hard Rock Cafe, I decided to channel my inner "rocker", and I also wore the monochromatic trend in this look as well. I kept things simple with my shoes and top to incorporate the trend even more.

I hope you enjoyed this post and look out for more outfits coming soon!

I am not much of an outdoorsy person. To be honest, I do not know how I survived four summers of sleep away camp outdoors. Anyway, today my photographer mom and I went to a local park and shot these lovely photos. Despite the plethora of bugs, on and around me, it was a wonderful idea. I strutted around the dirt filled area in my platforms and my delicate skirt from Oasap, blurring out the staring eyes. "You do what you gotta do" was surely my motto.

Yipeeee! I am finally back to what I hope will be regular, if not more frequent posting. I cannot wait to take you all on my adventures this summer and to share what styles I am sporting with you! Thank you so much for reading!
