Spring Thinking

Products:// Top and shorts: Urban Outfitters, Sunnies: Rayban, Sneakers: Vans, Case: Wildflower Cases

Today I am writing to all of you from Chile! I am currently on spring break, and am on vacation here in South America. Yesterday, when we were in Santiago exploring the town, my mom and I came across this little alcove type area, which I believe is someone's house (shh!). Anyway, I love the combination of this dainty top and these intricately adorned shorts. In addition, I just had to include a picture of my phone case from Wildflower Cases. They have a variety of handmade iPhone cases, all of which are adorable, so you should go check them out!

Tomorrow's itinerary includes the option of either zip-lining or horse back riding, which is quite a tough decision! Hopefully your week is going well so far! Thanks for reading.

And the rotation of locations continues. Today's backdrop is one of those family rooms where no one really ventures into it, and it is more for 'show'. I thought the ornamentation went well with the feeling being conveyed by my outfit. As you may or may not know, I attend a private school with a dress code (gasp!). We are to be clad in a button-down, a blazer, and pants or a skirt. On the days I don't feel like revolting against what most people sport, I wear a very JCrew "prepster" look. A staple of mine have been these JCrew 'Minnie' pants, which I have in multiple colors. I usually try to not wear basic colors for my upper half, which is why I am wearing this very spring time top. I just wanted to let you guys know that I am now officially on spring break (just a bit early)! However, tomorrow I will be going to South America with my mother for vacation, so posting will probably vary. I am looking forward to the 90 degree weather and the beautiful outfit post locations for you guys! I hope you all have a wonderful weekend. Thanks for reading!

In a surprise Valentine's day package from my mom, I received this wonderful "The Glinda Palette" from Urban Decay. This palette is inspired by  the Disney movie "Oz the Great and Powerful" and there is also the sister palette which is called "The Theodora Palette". These colors are a variety of matte and shimmery pastels and are perfect for transitioning your makeup from winter to spring. If you were wondering, the shimmery shades have little to no fall out and the colors are very opaque. The liner, which I happen to have already, is fabulous as expected. Since ripping this palette out of its luxurious packaging I have been loving swiping the peachy salmon color at the bottom left over my lid, taking the pink into my inner crease, and blending the charcoal grey onto the outer v of my eye. The combination of these colors is not completely natural, but definitely not too harsh for school or work.

Who, What, Where

 Brand: Urban Decay

Price: $49 USD

Where: Sephora.com and UrbanDecay.com

What do you think of this palette? Will you be purchasing? Thanks for reading and I hope you guys have a great week!  ❤

Products:// Top and Skirt: Urban Outfitters, Shoes: Doc Marten, Bracelet: Forever 21

To have more of a variety of backdrops for my outfit posts, I scouted out locations inside my house. My mom suggested this mural which is in our basement. It is definitely a switch from my usual greenery-full background which I think can "get old" after awhile. I especially like this outfit in front of this mural because, I mean, I can't imagine a frilly girly outfit against camo and footballs (Just me?). Anyway, on to the outfit. I have noticed that I have turned into a skirt kinda gal after being biased pants or dresses. I used to cringe at the thought of wearing a skirt, but now, it has become a regular occurrence of mine. The arrow-zig-zag like pattern combined with the zipper down the middle makes for a match made in heaven when paired with my Docs and this acid wash button down. You may be wondering what that last picture is supposed to be. The only thing I can say is that picture is a result of playing One Direction and trying to sing while taking a jumping shot.

I hope you all have a great rest of the week! :) I am currently awaiting the arrival of our early month long spring break, which begins next week! Friday can't come soon enough.

Military Spikes

Products:// Sweater, Coat, Necklace: Urban Outfitters,  Jeans: Free People, Boots: Doc Marten,  Bag: Louis Vuitton

With the snow perfectly fluffy and pearly white, I thought I would take advantage of the weather and drag my mom outside to shoot this outfit post. Let's just say we said ,"It is so cold!" more than justifiable. What I love about this ready-to-fight-the-cold look is how light and effortless, yet practical it is. Believe it or not, this trench coat sweater combination actually started to make me sweat a little. Even if it was just a teensy bit. I think this outfit is really raw and down to earth with my boots and the array of thread in the sweater, which is definitely outside of my comfort zone.

This is sort of random, but what do you guys think of me making a tumblr? Leave a comment on your thoughts! Thanks again for reading and have a superb weekend! :)

Glam Valentine's Day Look

Valentine's Day Look

(Click picture to see products)

With Valentine's day around the corner, I thought a Valentine's day look would be appropriate to do. By the the time I finished creating this set on Polyvore, I realized my inspiration seemed to be Kim Kardashian. She often embraces the peplum trend, while wearing bold colors like this. Beside her Birkin bag, you will also see her often sporting some sort of Chanel purse, while she struts in Christian Louboutin heels. These heels in particular are unique because of the ankle strap, which is Mary Jane like. I think this look would be perfect for a glamourous date out, but if you guys want, I can also do less dressy looks and what I will be wearing (most likely sweats while I do homework).

 Thanks for reading !
